BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the need for enhanced predictive models to manage disease spread. Weather conditions have been suggested to influence the transmission of respiratory viruses. This study leverages machine learning to explore the relationship between weather and COVID-19 spread. We aimed to identify similar counties based on COVID-19 case numbers, then find those with comparable weather conditions. By applying K-means clustering and statistical analysis, our objectives are to uncover how weather factors correlate with COVID-19 outbreaks and to develop insights that could inform more effective public health strategies and improve pandemic management.
